I really threw down on this blend. Zinfandel is not only delicious, but it is part of my family legacy. It never played such a large part in the previous vintages of the T-Rocks blend as it has this year but I’m obsessed with the way Zin leads the charge aromatically, and all the other varieties play backup singer. King-sized aromas of briary raspberry, boysenberry (my dad’s favorite jam, btw), pomegranate, Cuban cigar tobacco and sage followed by notes of plum, dark chocolate, mixed berry pie, and black tea.
